The purse is made of buttery soft white leather with and envelope flap snap top. It has a removable shoulder strap that snap into leather rings on the top of the interior. The purse has a hard, rectangular, boxy bottom that expands and an envelope snap top closure. The clasp is a hidden snap with the bold chrome GGl Gucci logo. The bag is a larger size that expands on the top and sides in a kind of accordion cut for more room! It can be worn as a clutch if you remove the strap, so it is like getting 2 designer purses for the price of one!
This purse has a very clean interior with one compartment and a zip close pocket and slot pocket. It predates serial numbers the way we see them now and has a gold embossed stamp with the 'Gucci, made in Italy' I believe indicating it is from the 1960's to 1970's.
